In 2015, I prayed a big prayer: “Take me to the world before I am taken from it.” I had no idea the answer to that prayer would lead me to Spain.

In 2017, after a year-long missional apprenticeship in Málaga, Spain, I walked the Camino de Santiago, a 520-mile pilgrimage across Northern Spain. That journey deeply impacted my life and awakened in me a desire to see others encounter the love of Jesus in the middle of their own stories, questions, wounds, and search for meaning.

In 2021, I returned to Spain, and for 5 years, I served in Santiago de Compostela, where pilgrims from all over the world arrive at the end of the Camino. Through Pilgrim House, I helped welcome people into a safe space to rest, reflect, process their journey, and engage the deeper questions of life, faith, hope, and God.

That season shaped me deeply.

​

Now, I live and serve in Málaga, Spain, continuing as a Global Worker in southern Spain. Málaga is a vibrant Mediterranean city where Spaniards, students, travelers, migrants, and people from many cultures and beliefs intersect every day.

​

Spain has a rich spiritual history, but today it is also a post-Christian nation where many have grown distant from faith, disillusioned with religion, or have never heard what it means to have a personal relationship with God.

​

My heart is to build meaningful connections, create welcoming spaces, mentor and disciple, and walk alongside people in seasons of searching, growth, and transition. Whether over coffee, around a table, in community gatherings, through pilgrimage, or in one-on-one discipleship, I long to share the love and presence of Christ and see his love transform the hearts of His children.

 

My desire is to continue walking with people as they encounter the hope, healing, and transforming love of Jesus.

My prayer for Spain is to see hearts awakened to Jesus, deeper spiritual hunger in the next generation, and strong communities of faith formed throughout the country.
